Rust Ancient External Cheat

Set up Rust Ancient External with the current requirements, overlay steps, and launch checklist.

!IMPORTANT!

If you are using an external spoofer, always run Ancient first and the spoofer second. Running the spoofer first can result in a ban.

System Requirements

  • CPU: AES instruction set support
  • BIOS: SVM / VT-X enabled
  • BIOS: Secure Boot disabled
  • Hyper-V enabled
  • RAM: 16GB or more
  • CPU compatibility: Intel and AMD
  • OS: Windows 10-11 (versions 1809-25H2)

Required Files

Prepare every required dependency before you launch Ancient:

  1. Disable Windows Defender / Disable Anti-Cheat / Disable Antivirus Software
  2. DOWNLOAD LOADER
  3. Visual C++ Runtimes
  4. DirectX End-User Runtime
  5. Overlay Setup

Display Software Setup

Medal Overlay

  • Download Medal and make sure the overlay is enabled before launch.
  • Keep Medal running in the background before you start the loader and the game.

Discord Overlay

  • Open Discord settings and enable the in-game overlay before you inject.
  • Use one supported overlay at a time and confirm it is active before launch.

Pre-Launch Checklist

  1. Disable antivirus and other blocking protection first.
  2. Launch loader.
  3. Insert your key.
  4. Press inject.
  5. Wait for the loader to close automatically.
  6. Start Rust.
  7. Open the menu with the Insert key.

Troubleshooting Guide

Loader Not Injecting - Stuck on Loading Screen

Fix: move the loader into a new empty folder and run it as administrator.

  1. Create a new folder on your Desktop, for example C:\Users\YourName\Desktop\Loader.
  2. Move only the newly downloaded loader into that folder.
  3. Right-click the loader and run it as administrator.
  4. Launch the loader again from that new folder.

Overlay Issues

  • Overlay not showing:
    • Confirm your selected overlay is enabled and running before launch.
    • Restart the overlay application and try again.
  • Overlay starts but does not draw correctly:
    • Close other overlay tools and keep only one supported overlay active.

Display Issues

No Menu or Immediate Loader Closure

Bind Issues

  • Solution 1: Reinject.
  • Solution 2: Run the overlay as administrator.

Technical Errors

  • Error 0x296 - Reinject is required.
  • Unknown Network Error - Check your connection and disable VPN if it is active.
  • Memory Allocation Errors - Reboot the PC and clean auto-start programs.
  • Dependency Loading Errors - Disable blocking protection, remove security conflicts, and clean auto-start programs.
  • Anticheat Conflicts - Uninstall Vanguard or Faceit if they are still present.
  • AES Instruction Set Error - This is a hardware limitation and may require a different CPU.
  • Virtualization Errors VMX/SVM Support - Disable Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform
  • HWID Issues - Check system integrity:
    wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber
    wmic baseboard get SerialNumber
    If commands fail, reinstall Windows.
  • Virtual/RAID Disk Error - Disable the spoofer if one is in use, disable RAID in BIOS, or reinstall Windows.

VMX is Not Supported

Fix:

  1. Run CMD as Administrator.
  2. Enter the following command: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
  3. Reboot your PC.
  4. Try running the loader again.

Error: Failed to Map Memory(0)

If one method does not work, try the other.

Option 1 (Recommended First):

  1. Disable all auto-start programs in Task Manager.
  2. Restart your PC and try running the loader again.

Option 2 (If Option 1 Fails):

  1. Download Autoruns from: Autoruns
  2. Run Autoruns and disable unnecessary startup items.
  3. Restart your PC and try running the loader again.
