Rust Ultimate External Cheat

Required Files

Download all required files before starting:

  1. Disable Windows Defender / Disable Anti-Cheat / Disable Antivirus Software
  2. DOWNLOAD LOADER
  3. Visual C++ Runtimes
  4. DirectX End-User Runtime

Discord Settings

You must enable Discord's Legacy Overlay for the cheat to work properly.
How to enable:

  1. Open Discord Settings
  2. Go to Game Overlay section
  3. Enable "Enable Legacy Overlay" toggle
  4. Restart Discord if needed

Instructions

1. Download Required Software

Note: This is required for the cheat to function.

AMD GPU Setup

  • Download Overwolf and run it
  • NVIDIA GPUs: Compatible with both NVIDIA App and Overwolf
  • AMD GPUs: Only compatible with Overwolf

2. Disable Windows Antivirus

Display Settings

  • Set Rust to Windowed mode instead of Fullscreen

Loader Setup

  1. Use your license key to download the loader from link.
  2. Run loader as Administrator
  3. Automatic Launch: Ensure Steam is running → Rust will start automatically

Error Code Solutions

  • 0xC0000100 - Solution: Use VPN and reload loader
  • 0xC0000108/109/10A - Solution: Uninstall recent Windows Updates
  • 0xC0000203 - Solution: Run cmd as admin and paste in: del WindowsCodecsRaw.dll
  • 0xC000020D - Solution: Reload the loader
  • 0xC0000404 (183) External : 0xC0000404 (183) - Solution: Open command prompt as admin Type these commands: sc stop WINIO and sc delete WINIO
  • 0xC000040D - Solution: How to uninstall windows update Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • 0xC0000600 - Solution: You need to reinstall windows
  • 0xC0000602 - Solution: update steelseries

Loader closing while loading without opening rust

Solution:

  1. Generate new loader
  2. Reinstall: Nvidia App, Overwolf, Visual C++ Runtimes, DirectX End-User Runtime
  3. Restart PC

NVIDIA USERS ONLY: Failed to enable overlay

Open NVIDIA App, and disable the overlay and re-enable it.

NVIDIA USERS ONLY: Menu showing up behind the game window

Open the game, open NVIDIA App and turn NVIDIA Overlay on and off, close the game, then load.

RADEON USERS ONLY: Menu not showing up after waiting in main menu for a while

Open Overwolf, go to "Overlay & Hotkeys", enable the rust toggle.

Menu not responding to clicks or inputs

Make sure the game is not being ran as administrator (Also check the game executables compatability settings).

ERROR: Loader Crashing / Frozen Menu

Fix:

  1. Delete the old loader and download a new version. (Each time it crashes, repeat this step.)
  2. If prompted to restart your PC, restart your PC.
  3. Ensure OverWolf is not installed if you have an Nvidia GPU.
  4. Download and install the following:
    Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes: Visual C++ Runtimes
    DirectX Web Installer: DirectX End-User Runtime
  5. Restart the loader after installing the above packages.
    Note: This method has fixed loader crashes for many users.
